You’re Invited: Public Workshops in January

It’s hard to believe that we have reached 2016! It’s even harder to believe that we’ve already completed one-third of Vision2040, our Master Planning process.

We have had great feedback and conversations with our community throughout this entire process and thank everyone who has provided input to date.  But, it’s not over yet.

In December, we wrapped up the third Policy Advisory Committee and Technical Advisory Committee meetings, and we are now preparing for the upcoming Public Workshops later this month.

Participants in the June 2015 workshop in Raleigh review information boards.

These workshops will give members of the community a chance to hear about our progress to date for Vision2040 and also speak directly with members of the RDU staff about our findings.  In addition, we will have interactive stations set up that will help describe what has been completed so far. Some of the topics that we’ll be addressing are Vision2040’s goals and timeline as well as the team’s assessments of our terminals, landside and support facilities and aviation forecasts.

Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this discussion! We hope you can join us for one of the following dates in Durham or Raleigh.

  • Durham: Jan. 27, 6:30 p.m.

Doris Duke Center at Duke Gardens

  • Raleigh: Jan. 28, 6:30 p.m.

Center for Community Leadership at the Junior League in Raleigh

Vision2040’s success depends upon our community’s involvement, so we hope that you’ll be able to attend one of the dates above.  If you are unable to attend, please visit our website for more information or to contact us directly.
