RDU Airport, N.C. — Southwest Airlines today added nonstop service to Dallas-Love Field Airport from Raleigh-Durham International Airport. The daily flight will begin on August 9.

“We are thrilled that Southwest Airlines is adding nonstop service to Love Field,” said Teresa Damiano, RDU vice president of communications and community affairs. “Dallas is an extremely popular destination with our passengers and having the option of flying to the region’s second airport is a great benefit for area travelers. From Love Field, our passengers will also have easy one-stop connections throughout Texas and the Southwestern U.S.”

Southwest flight 616 will depart RDU at 6:25 a.m., landing at Love Field at 8:30 a.m. local time. Return flight 1030 departs Love Field at 5:10 p.m. arriving at RDU at 8:45 p.m. local time.
