RDU Welcomes Third Airline Club to Terminal 2

New United Club Features Modern Décor and Local Cuisine

RDU Airport, N.C. – United Airlines customers will have a new place to relax during their travels as RDU welcomes a United Club to Terminal 2. RDU is the first airport in the United Airlines network to add a club in more than a decade.

“We are pleased that United chose RDU for its first new airport club in more than 15 years,” said Michael Landguth, president & CEO of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority. “United’s new club expands amenities for our customers as part of the world class experience at RDU.”

The United Club opens its doors on Saturday, Aug. 10 to customers traveling through the Research Triangle region. The 3,800 square foot lounge will feature some local flavor, with visitors enjoying North Carolina favorites including biscuits and gravy, barbecue and cornbread. It also features 93 seats, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and plenty of standard power outlets and USB ports.

The club is located across from Gates D1 and D3 in Terminal 2 and will be open daily from 5:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. United offers 27 daily nonstop flights from RDU to Chicago, Denver, Houston, New York/Newark, San Francisco and Washington, DC.
