Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) temporarily reopened ParkRDU Economy 4 this morning to provide more parking availability at the airport. The terminal deck (Premier and Central) and Park Economy 3 filled Thanksgiving morning, requiring all guests who did not reserve a space online to park in Economy 4.
Economy 4 is only open to drive-up customers at $7 per day. Premier, Central and Economy 3 are currently open to guests who booked online in advance until more spots become available.
We encourage guests to check parking availability at ParkRDU.com before coming to the airport and reference the electronic signs when deciding where to park. There are 17 electronic parking signs across campus that inform guests which parking options are open to drive-up customers.
We also recommend travelers arrive two hours early for domestic flights to make sure there is time to find parking, check in, get through security and to the gate on time.
