RDU Moves Up to #3 on J.D. Power List from #9 Last Year
RDU is ranked third among large North American airports for Customer Satisfaction in a new study from J.D. Power. RDU was ranked ninth in the same study last year.

The survey looked at six factors: terminal facilities, airport arrival/departure, baggage claim, security check, check-in/baggage check and food, beverage and retail. The Top Five Airports in J.D. Power’s 2021 North America Airport Satisfaction Study are:
- Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY)
- Tampa International Airport (TPA)
- Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)
- Dallas Love Field (DAL)
- Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)
Airports in Nashville (BNA), Austin (AUS), San Diego (SAN), San Antonio (SAT) and Washington, D.C. (IAD) rounded out the Top Ten. You can learn more about the study on J.D. Power’s website.
