RDU Airport, N.C. – Pack your bags and prepare to spin the roulette wheel. There’s now a new way to fly from central North Carolina to Las Vegas. Frontier launches daily nonstop service August 14 between Raleigh-Durham International Airport and McCarran International Airport in Sin City.
“Our network continues to expand in markets where people want to fly,” said Josh Flyr, Frontier Airlines vice president – network and revenue. “Customers flying between RDU and Las Vegas will now have a new low-cost option.”
“Exceptional air service is critical to growing, thriving communities,” said Michael Landguth, president and CEO of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority. “Frontier’s new nonstop service provides our customers with more opportunities to travel to one of America’s most exciting cities and connect them with the people and places that matter most.”
Frontier Airlines flight will depart RDU daily at 7:55 p.m. and arrive in Las Vegas at 9:55 p.m. local time. The return flight departs Las Vegas at 10:50 p.m. local time flying overnight to RDU with an arrival time of 6:20 a.m. the next morning.
Frontier will use 186-seat, Airbus 320 aircraft with two class service to serve the route. About 250 fly between RDU and Las Vegas both ways, each day.
