RDU Airport, N.C. – Operations are returning to normal at Raleigh-Durham International Airport following two days of winter weather impacts. Some delays and cancellations are expected to continue for the next few days due to winter weather impacts in the Northeast.
This morning, most airlines are working to return to normal flight operations. Southwest Airlines is expected to resume departures at 1:15 p.m. today with the airline’s ticket counter reopening late this morning.
RDU crews are monitoring runway and roadway conditions; however runways and taxiways are open and operating today.
Travelers planning to fly today or Monday are encouraged to check flight status with their airline before heading to the airport. Flight status is also available on rdu.com.
