RDU Airport, NC – United Airlines today announced it will begin nonstop service between Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Denver International Airport. The airline will offer two daily nonstop flights to Denver beginning Sept. 13.
“RDU welcomes United’s service to Denver,” said Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority President and CEO Michael Landguth. “In addition to being a popular business and leisure destination, through United’s hub in Denver, customers will have access to destinations to the West and beyond.”
Approximately 500 passengers travel between RDU and Denver each day.
The flight will be offered on an Embraer-175 with 76 seats and two-class service.
One flight will depart Denver at 10 a.m. and again at 5:20 p.m. Departures from RDU to Denver will be at 8:20 a.m. and 4:10 p.m.
United briefly offered service from RDU to Denver beginning in 2007.
