JANUARY 16, 2025 – Notice of Regular Meeting of the Authority Board and Committee Work Sessions
The following Authority Board committees will meet sequentially, each beginning at the conclusion of the prior committee’s work session, starting at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025 in Conference Room 100 of the RDU Center (located at 1000 Trade Drive at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport) to discuss the items listed on the Committee Work Sessions Agenda as well as any other matters that might be deemed appropriate for discussion at that time: I) Operations; and II) Construction.
The Authority Board will conduct its regular monthly meeting at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025, in Conference Room 100 of the RDU Center (located at 1000 Trade Drive at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport), to consider the items listed on the Board Agenda as well as any other matters that might be deemed appropriate for discussion at that time.

JANUARY 21, 2025 – Notice of Special Meeting of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Board
The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Board will meet for a special Board meeting beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in Conference Room 100 of the RDU Center (located at 1000 Trade Drive at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport). Some Directors may attend the meeting virtually. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Authority’s strategic, capital and funding plans, review key landside and airside infrastructure projects, including Terminal 2, Park Economy 3, and Airport roadways, and such other matters as might be deemed necessary and appropriate for discussion at that time. JANUARY 29, 2025 – Amended Notice of Special Meeting of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Board (to change start time to 4:00 p.m. and add Closed Session)
The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Board will meet for a special board meeting beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in Conference Room 100 of the RDU Center (located at 1000 Trade Drive at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport). Some Directors may attend the meeting virtually. The purpose of this meeting is to receive public comments from present, in-person attendees offering proposals to achieve the Authority’s stated goals for the Lake Crabtree Park Development to: a) Create a unique and innovative entertainment destination which will be appealing to the greater Triangle Region and may include community assets such as food and beverage, retail, hospitality/boutique hotel, recreational facilities, etc.; b) Develop in a manner consistent and appropriate with the natural surroundings of the site; c) Ensure recreational users are considered in the development; and d) Increase non-aeronautical revenue to the Authority, along with such other matters as might be deemed necessary and appropriate for discussion at that time. From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Board of Directors will convene a closed session to discuss a personnel matter pursuant to NCGS §143-318.11(a)(1) and (6) and will then enter into an open session. The open session part of the meeting for public comments will begin at 5:00 p.m.

Regular Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Board Meetings – on the third Thursday of every month
The Authority Board committees will meet sequentially, each beginning at the conclusion of the prior committee’s work session, starting at 11:00 am (unless a different start time is stated in the monthly meeting notice) on the third Thursday of every month to consider any matters that might be deemed appropriate for discussion at that time. The Authority Board will conduct its regular monthly meeting beginning at 1:00 pm on the third Thursday of every month, to consider any matters that might be deemed appropriate for discussion at that time. Meetings are held in Conference Room 100 of the RDU Center located at 1000 Trade Drive at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
Public Comment at Board Meetings
The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Board of Directors allows members of the public an opportunity to offer verbal comments in accordance with applicable ordinances, laws, and the Authority’s Public Comments Rules. Persons who wish to address the Board of Directors during the Public Comment period must register on the sign-up sheet located in the designated location inside or in front of the Board’s meeting room prior to the start of the meeting.
