International flyers at RDU have even more to be excited about: Air France will increase flight frequency in spring 2024, offering daily nonstop service between Raleigh-Durham and Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) beginning March 31, 2024.
The announcement comes just a couple weeks after Air France announced it would launch service between the two cities starting Oct. 30, taking over the route as part of its partnership with Delta Air Lines.
The flight will operate three times each week aboard a 279-seat Boeing 787 Dreamliner until March 31, when the frequency will increase to daily service. The 787 is a larger aircraft that has not previously flown from RDU and has more seats than the Boeing 767 that Delta currently flies on the route.
Delta and Air France are both members of SkyTeam, an alliance of 19 airlines that work together to provide a more seamless travel experience for passengers. Delta will cease flying the route after serving it since 2016, but you’ll still be able to purchase tickets through both Delta and Air France.
The Paris service is timed to provide ideal connections from CDG to Air France’s network of nearly 200 destinations and 89 countries.
Tickets are on sale now and available to purchase from both Air France and Delta.
