RDU Airport, NC – Raleigh-Durham International Airport today kicked off Customer Service Week by demonstrating how passengers can avoid lines at the parking exit plaza by using Exit Express. The automated payment program is just one of the services RDU will highlight this week as part of the national celebration recognizing the importance of customer service.
RDU will mark the annual event by showcasing airport programs and services that enhance the passenger travel experience.
Today, volunteers have been on hand at Exit Express pay stations to demonstrate how the program works. By using Exit Express, motorists greatly decrease the amount of time it takes to pay for parking and exit the parking garage.
On Tuesday, volunteers will be stationed near the baggage claim areas to assist arriving passengers who need a taxi or hotel shuttle and to answer questions. On Thursday, RDU employees will greet arriving and departing passengers on the concourse to direct them to airline gates, baggage claim and shops and restaurants.
The week ends when RDU’s shops and restaurants showcase menu specials, as well as retail and specialty merchandise. Passengers will also enjoy discounts and special airline and car rental promotions.
All customer service week events will take place from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
