MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Experience as a law enforcement officer (LEO), graduation from high school/GED, college degree preferred; MUST hold sworn certification in North Carolina. Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, and aviation security regulations; ability to deal firmly and courteously with the public, react quickly and courageously in emergencies; meet specific physical requirements and work under adverse weather conditions; establish and maintain working relationships with other employees and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
SPECIAL NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS: Minimum five (5) years experience as a LEO, U.S. citizenship; must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license and present a copy of social security card; must pass a security background check, drug test, as well as written and physical fitness tests (push-ups, sit-ups, 300 meter and 1.5 mile runs).
POSITION DUTIES: Conduct initial and follow up investigations of criminal, juvenile and/or drug related incidents; conduct interviews; perform undercover operations and surveillance work as required; arrests offenders; prepares reports and testifies in court. Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a bachelor's degree in information systems, network administration, computer science, or related field and considerable experience in computer operations or data processing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Current Microsoft Certified Engineer (MSCE) Certification or ability to complete an MCSE is desired. Thorough knowledge of personal computer hardware; thorough knowledge of personal computer software applications, especially Word, Excel, and database software; thorough knowledge of operating software and the relationships of hardware and drivers; ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions; ability to handle confidential information appropriately; ability to collect information from systems users and interpret needs of the users; ability to diagnose and provide solutions to equipment and software failures; ability to communicate hardware and software instructions and information to end users; ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with system users, employees, supervisors, and outside consultants and contacts; certifications desired but not required: Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA), Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD), Cisco Data Center Networking Infrastructure Design Specialist, Cisco Data Center Storage Networking Design Specialist.

POSITION DUTIES: Supervises and assists in server/desktop/hardware system builds, ghosting and user profile building to assist Service Technician group in system deployments; leads installations of server hardware devices on the computer system/network and performs preventative maintenance on these devices, assisting in installations of new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches; troubleshoots and resolves equipment and network failures and resolves software related problems; supervises Microsoft Active Directory installation, management, and troubleshooting as well as Microsoft Exchange 2003 support; supervises and executes SAN-based Enterprise Backup System to include processes and procedures by designing processes for maintaining data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity; supervises and executes Disaster Recovery processes and procedures ensuring Business Continuity; good working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, DHCP, DNS and SMTP; supports operation of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and interaction with MS-SQL technologies; supervises implementation and supports in-house and hosted server applications; designs systems documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); works with ISSI Manager to ensure that system security concerns are reviewed for consolidations, central security policy management, configuration management, user and/or profile identity/authentication management; ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions to include processes to monitor, maintain, support, and optimize networked software and associated operating systems using tools like the Solarwinds Network Management System; Leads design and integration of new systems and applications into day-to-day operations to include integration into platforms such as IBM's Websphere; applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments; works with Security Analyst in Policy and Procedures Group to audit system scans for compliance to regulatory requirements and designing systems that ensure availability of access while integrating security aspects to maintain system integrity to include, process for creating user accounts and maintaining security levels on databases; facilitates technical coordination with Oracle DBA contractor; leads design and integration of new systems and applications into day-to-day operations; supervises processes of communication with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) / Vendor and software and hardware vendors to troubleshoot system application and hardware errors to resolution; leads team to analyze and resolve problems associated with server hardware Windows and UNIX , applications software; Monitors existing server usage, ensuring proper working order to provide solutions to operational or user related problems; reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems; consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives; works as directed in the continual effort to employ effectively emerging technologies in support of Airport Systems; works with all levels of organization in the analysis of computing needs; engages in the continual maintenance and support of production systems; engages in the appropriate testing of computer systems and implementation of new systems. Performs related duties as required.
