Rehabilitate West Airfield Lighting and Airfield Signage
With the assistance of funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the Authority will continue to upgrade airfield lighting and signage, and to modernize power regulating equipment in order to create the most energy and maintenance efficient airfield lighting system currently possible. At the conclusion of this project, all airfield guidance signs will be illuminated by light emitting diodes (LED's) and all airfield lights will be LED's with the exception of runway edge lights which are not yet FAA certified.
